First of all, the training course in Bar was really influential and educational.
I learned so many things.
Starting with the energizers, I found most of them really interesting and funny. As a teacher, I need energizers for my job and I liked most of them because they really helped as bond together and feel at ease.
As far as the activities are concerned they were really interesting. We even had practices of Forum Theater! The subject of the training vourse was about sexual taboos. We shared our ideas about sexual taboos, we felt loosen up by all the memebers of the group because we felt free to share our feelings and thought, which made the program really influential and communicative.
The best activities that we did was about a play each group had to do about sexual taboos and another game-like activity that we had patces in our heads with labels and the other people treated us as we are thes kind of labels in reality.. It was really sentimental and we felt what it was like to be these people that bear labels in their true lives.
Through experiencing all these activities, I felt liberated, I felt that I could be openminded.
The training course helped me to see clearly through sexual discriminations and taboos, to be even more antiracist and openminded and feel how it is to be different.
Not only the course helped me to be more ease and accept all the people no matter how different they may look but also it helped me in my job as a teacher. After this experience I feel that I can accept more different people and now I know through energizers how to mke my student feel better, more connencted and not bored when they feel bored or down by the lesson.
Aida was helpful, Milisav who was the trainer of the course was the best! He helped as the most to feel connected with the entire group, he was really instructional through the whole course, I think he is the best trainer!
The hotel was nothing special with really bad internet connection.
The only drawback I can see is that the program was so intensive with so limited free time that sometimes we felt really tired and bored after all these activities. We started at 9 in the morning finished at half past 1 and then at 3 we started again!! We could only eat something and relax in only one hour and a half and then activities again. It was the most intensive course that I have been to but I could deal with it because we learnt so much.
All in all, the project was one of the most fascinating I have ever been through. I did not regret even the last minute of it! I have learnt so much, I felt member of the group, I made friends that I am in contact till now!
I will always remember the training course in Montenegro as one of the best experiences in my life, feeling lucky to have the opportunity to experience it! I would go to another project without having second thoughts! I believe in this type of non0formal education because I personally learnt by it and I believe in education through these kind of experiences.
